New Developments in the Valley Luxury Apartment Market

The Valley is on its way to becoming one of the top tech markets in the country and is also one of the nation’s fastest-growing cities. As the business culture continues to thrive, and new residents arrive daily, the need for high-end housing has increased in the area. In response, new housing options are emerging to meet the demand. Here are some of the latest developments in the Valley luxury apartment market.

One Camelback

?At the southeast corner of Central Avenue and Camelback Road the former Harris Bank Tower is being renovated to become One Camelback. According to a recent report, the 215,245-square-foot-building will become 163 luxury apartments with various 16-floor plans and various unit sizes.

This eleven-story glass panel structure is being developed into a state-of-the-art luxury apartment building with expansive floor-plans and high-end amenities. Each unit will also have floor-to-ceiling windows that offer views of either Camelback Mountain, downtown Phoenix, and South Mountain or the Valley. Additionally, residents will be able to enjoy the use of a 6,500-square-foot rooftop terrace with a swimming pool, an endless lap pool, a spa and cabanas, a yoga lawn, deck, and clubhouse. The property will have secure underground parking with electric car-charging stations. It is reported that the more expensive properties will be the penthouse residences on floors 10 and 11, which are anticipated to be priced at approximately $300.00 per foot, or about $10,000 a month.

One Camelback is also reportedly in negotiations to bring upscale retailers into the area to go along with the fine dining and other high-end businesses in the surrounding community. The building is within walking distance of specialty grocer AJ’s Fine Foods, whici is in Uptown Plaza. It is close to light-rail transportation. The new residences will also be near downtown businesses, sporting events, restaurants, bars, and evening entertainment.
