According to a recent article, Dallas’s Exceptional Healthcare plans to build at least six community hospitals across Arizona. Saeed Mahboubi, CFO of Exceptional Healthcare, stated that the company recognized that “Arizona is facing a shortage of healthcare facilities and professionals, particularly in rural areas and smaller communities in the state.” According to Mahboubi, Exceptional Healthcare believes that “These new hospitals will fill a critical need and help strengthen the state’s overall healthcare infrastructure.”
The first facility will be a 20,000 square foot internal medicine hospital in Maricopa. The new hospital will offer 24-emergency services and a digital imaging suite. The projected completion date will be in the fall of 2021. Exceptional Healthcare also wants to develop medical facilities in Yuma and Prescot and other Arizona cities.
